Exchange Programme Erasmus+ in Poland

Since the academic year 2016-2017, students and staff from Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) shall have the opportunity to participate in the international mobility for higher education students and staff within the Erasmus+ Partner Countries Programme at the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH UST), Krakow, Poland.

This year, exchange students from HUMG will do part of a particular curriculum at AGH UST for the period of 5 months from October 2016 to February 2017. The qualification of candidates for the programme is carried out at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology. Students qualified for the participation to the Programme not only receive an EU grant as contribution to the cost for travel and subsistance during the period of study but will also experience advantages of student mobility, such as: inviduals' personal development, competences and skills improvement, english language skills enhancement, greater intercultural awareness expansion, quickly adaptation to changes and new situations: solving prblems, working in teams, thinking critically and communicating more efficiently. 8 undergraduate and graduate students from HUMG have been selected to participate in the programme.

The staff mobility period at the AGH UST shall be commenced and completed within the period from 1 October 2016 and 30 April 2017 in which 10 days + 2 travel days for teaching staff and 5 days + 2 travel days for training staff. A grant supported by EU will be provided for living allowance and return travel to staff participating in the mobility. Moreover, it's an opportunity for HUMG staff to develop professional experiences, acquire good practices, improve teaching curricula and research, enhance foreign language skills and get more information of European education system.

In the freamwork of this programme, students and professors from AGH UST will come to learn and give lectures at HUMG from October 2016.

Joining the Erasmus+ Programme demonstrated the development of international cooperation of Hanoi University of Mining and Geology creating conditions for students and staff to integrate with the international education.
